Exports of pepper totaled over US$ 307 million in four months

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported 86,800 tons of pepper worth of US$ 307.1 million in the first four months of this year, increased sharply by 13.8 per cent in quantity but decreased by 34 per cent in value over the same period last year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
India ranked second with 9,100 tons worth of $ 31.3 million, up by 36.37 per cent.
However, the exports of pepper to Belgium decreased sharply by 63.24 per cent or 93 tons.
