U.S, EU, China, Japan – leading footwear export markets of Vietnam
Tuesday, April 10,2018AsemconnectVietnam - In the first two months of 2018, Vietnam’s exports of footwear of all kinds increased by 11 per cent over the same period of 2017 to US$ 2.25 billion showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
EU market accounted for 28.3 per cent of the total with the export turnover of $ 637.5 million, down by 1.7 per cent; to China – up by 29.5 per cent to $ 226.53 million; and to Japan – up by 25 per cent to $ 160.99 million.
In the first two months of this year, Vietnam’s exports of footwear of all kinds to India increased sharply by 110.3 per cent to $ 14.07 million; to Portugal – up by 66 per cent to $ 0.4 million; to Czech – up by 64.6 per cent to $ 12.14 million; to Turkey – up by 44.8 per cent to $ 3.27 million.
