In the period, the country’s exports of crude oil to the South East Asian countries reached 227,273 tons worth of $ 119.68 million, down by 29 per cent in quantity and 11 per cent in value compared with the same period last year.

Of the figure, the exports to Thailand reached 148,122 tons worth of $ 79.11 million, down by 5.4 per cent in quantity and 19.2 per cent in value compared with the same period last year, while the exports to Singapore – 34,197 tons worth of $ 16.47 million, down by 71 per cent in quantity and 66.9 per cent in value; to Malaysia – 44,954 tons worth of $ 24.11 million, down by 1.6 per cent in quantity but up by 30.3 per cent in value.

The country’s exports of crude oil to China reached 172,122 tons worth of $ 97.13 million, down by 61.4 per cent in quantity and 48.2 per cent in value.

Especially, in the first two months of this year, the exports of crude oil to Australia increased sharply by 491 per cent year – on – year in quantity to 155,551 tons and 693 per cent year – on – year in value to $ 86.78 million.

Meanwhile, the exports of crude oil to the U.S increased sharply by 185.6 per cent in quantity and 261.5 per cent in value to 93,960 tons worth of $ 50.41 million.
