Last year, the country’s exports of cell phones and accessories to South Korea reached $ 3.97 billion, up by 45 per cent; textiles and garments - $ 2.64 billion, up by 15.8 per cent; computers, electronics and components - $ 1.83 billion, up by 46 per cent; machines, equipment and spare parts - $ 967.64 million, up by 27.9 per cent; seafood - $ 778.5 million, up by 28.1 per cent.

The country’s imports of computers, electronics and components from South Korea reached $ 15.33 billion, up by 76.7 per cent; machines, equipment and spare parts - $ 8.63 billion, up by 46.6 per cent; cell phones and accessories - $ 6.18 billion, up by 72.6 per cent; fabrics of all kinds - $ 2.04 billion, up by 4.2 per cent; petroleum of all kinds - $ 1.91 billion, up by 93 per cent.

In 2017, the country’s imports of petroleum from South Korea increased sharply by 93 per cent to $ 1.91 billion; while the imports of computers, electronics and components – up by 76.7 per cent to $ 15.33 billion; cameras, camcorders and components – up by 73.5 per cent to $ 485.45 million; cell phones and accessories – up by 72.6 per cent to $ 6.18 billion; confectionery and grain products and grain products – up by 66.6 per cent to $ 25.59 million; fruit and vegetables – up by 63.2 per cent to $ 15.53 million.

However, the country’s imports of means of transport and spare parts; liquefied gas and pharmaceutical materials were down by 52.6 per cent; 57.3 per cent and 35.2 per cent, respectively year – on – year.
