Vietnam earned US$ 2.6 billion from crude oil exports in 11 months

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported 6.27 million tons of crude oil worth of over US$ 2.6 billion in the first 11 months of this year, slightly decreased by 0.1 per cent in quantity but up by 21.5 per cent in value over the same period last year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
The average crude oil export price in the first 11 months of this year was up by 22.8 per cent compared with the same period last year to $ 415.2 per ton.
China was leading the list of the country’s biggest crude oil export markets in the first 11 months of this year with nearly 2.2 million tons worth of $ 920.9 million, accounted for 35 per cent of the total.
The exports of crude oil to Thailand increased sharply by 154 per cent in quantity and 212 per cent in value year – on – year to 926,598 tons worth of $ 391.23 million
Japan ranked third in the list of the country’s crude oil export markets with 778,542 tons worth of $ 322.12 million, up by 72.7 per cent in quantity and 109.4 per cent in value compared with the same period of 2016.
The exports of crude oil to Singapore also rocketed by 385.6 per cent in quantity and 431 per cent in value; and to the U.S – up by 46.8 per cent in quantity and 89.6 per cent in value.
