The U.S was leading the list of 43 export markets of machines, equipment and spare parts of Vietnam in the first ten months of this year with the export turnover of over $ 2 billion, up by 16.8 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 19.12 per cent of the total. It was followed by Japan with $ 1.41 billion, up by 10 per cent; and then China with $ 1.31 billion, up by 50.8 per cent year – on – year.

The country’s exports of machines, equipment and spare parts to EU reached $ 1.35 billion, up by 44.6 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 12.9 per cent of the total, while the exports to the South East Asian countries reached $ 1.27 billion, up by 7.7 per cent.

In the first ten months of this year, the country’s exports of machines, equipment and spare parts to New Zealand increased sharply by 185.5 per cent to $ 21.73 million; to Sweden – up by 170.6 per cent to $ 20.09 million; to Russia – up by 165.6 per cent to $ 55.17 million; and to Finland – up by 154.8 per cent to $ 3.07 million.

However, the exports of machines, equipment and spare parts to Singapore, Switzerland and Czech decreased by 24 per cent; 4.2 per cent and 2.5 per cent, respectively over the same period last year.
