China was leading the list of the country’s major export markets of electric wires and cables with the export turnover of $ 317.73 million, accounted for 33.6 per cent the total and increased sharply by 186 per cent year – on – year.

Meanwhile, the exports of the item to Japan reached $ 203.09 million, up by 42 per cent; and to South Korea - $ 88.48 million, up by 55.9 per cent.

The country’s exports of electric wires and cables to South East Asian countries reached $ 137.62 million, accounted for 14.6 per cent of the total and increased by 27.5 per cent compared with the same period last year.

In the first nine months of this year, the country’s exports of electric wires and cables to the U.K rocketed by 475 per cent to $ 4.78 million; to China – up by 186 per cent to $ 317.73 million; to Malaysia – up by 116 per cent to $ 9.47 million; to Taiwan – up by 99 per cent to $ 3.61 million; and to Thailand – up b y 83.5 per cent to $ 30.17 million.

However, the exports to Indonesia and Australia decreased by 33 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively year – on – year.
