Carriage of passengers and cargo in 7 months of 2017

Generally for 7 months, passenger transportation reached 2,319.7 million passengers, up 10% over the same period last year and 104.1 billion passengers-kilometers, up 8.8%, of which passenger transport by road reached 2,186.3 million passengers, up 10.3% and 71 billion passengers-kilometers, up 7.8%.
Airline 24.8 million passengers, up 10.2% and 28.6 billion passengers-kilometers, up 11.8%. Railways 6.2 million passengers, down 1.5% and 2.5 billion passengers-kilometers, up 6.6%. Sea transport 3.8 million passengers, up 10.8% and 199.1 million passengers-kilometers, up 11.8%.

Cargo traffic in July was estimated at 119.8 million tons, up 0.8% month on month and 22.3 billion tons-kilometers, down 0.7%. Generally for 7 months, cargo transportation reached 825 million tons, up 9.2% over the same period last year and 152.9 billion tons.km, up 6%, of which domestic transport reached 805.8 million tons, increased by 9.4% and 76 billion tons-kilometers, up 10.9%.
Overseas transport reached 19.2 million tonnes, up 0.5 percent and 76.9 billion tonnes-kilometer, up 1.6 percent. By sector, road transport reached 641 million tons, up 9.7% over same period last year and 40.3 billion tons.km, up 11.5%.
Riverway reached 141.1 million tons, up 7% and 30 billion tons-kilometers, up 7.5%. Sea transport reached 39.5 million tons, up 9.8% and 80.2 billion tons-kilometers, up 2.9%. The railway reached 3.2 million tons, up 5.8% and 2 billion tons-kilometers, up 8.7%.
