Over US$ 13 billion worth of goods exported to China

In the first six months of this year, Vietnam exported US$ 13.02 billion worth of goods to China, increased by 42.9 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 13.3 per cent of the country’s total export turnover.
Computers, electronics and components were leading the list of items exported by the country to China in the period with the export turnover of $ 2.85 billion, up by 101.3 per cent year – on – year and accounted for 21.6 per cent of the total.
It was followed by fruit and vegetables with $ 1.25 billion, up by 55.4 per cent; fibers of all kinds - $ 933.5 million, up by 29.5 per cent.
In the first six months of this year, the country’s exports of papers and products to China rocketed by 393.8 per cent; iron and steel – up by 171 per cent; electric wires and cables – up by 116 per cent; rubber – up by 81 per cent; glass and products – up by 86 per cent.
However, the country’s exports of coffee, tea and crude oil to China decreased by 20.3 per cent; 23 per cent and 21.6 per cent, respectively over the same period of 2016.
