The major commodities exported by the country to Laos in the period were petroleum, iron and steel, means of transport and spare parts; iron and steel products; textiles and garments, fertilizer, etc, leading by petroleum with $ 45.5 million; and then iron and steel - $ 31.2 million, down by 14.63 per cent; and means of transport and spare parts - $ 20.8 million, up by 8.89 per cent.

In the period, the country’s exports of ordinary metals to Laos decreased sharply by 53.89 per cent or $ 1.7 million; but the exports of fertilizer to Laos increased sharply by 103.07 per cent year – on – year.
