Vietnam Jan-May rice exports up 2.1 pct y/y
Monday, May 29,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam, the world's third-largest rice exporter behind India and Thailand, shipped an estimated 2.33 million tonnes of the grain between January and May, up 2.1 percent from the same period last year, the government said on Monday.
Revenue from rice exports for the period will reach an estimated $1.04 billion, up 1.7 percent year-on-year, it said in a monthly report.
