US$ 844.2 million worth of goods exported to Cambodia in four months

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported US$ 844.2 million worth of goods to Cambodia in the first four months of this year, increased by 19.16 per cent over the same period last year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
In April only, the country exported $ 205.1 million worth of goods to Cambodia.
Iron and steel of all kinds was leading the list of items exported by Vietnam to Cambodia in the first four months of the year with the export turnover of $ 143.1 million, up by 56.84 per cent year – on – year and accounted for nearly 17 per cent of the total. It was followed by petroleum of all kinds with $ 134.6 million, up by 23.01 per cent; and textiles and garments - $ 94.7 million, up by 38.17 per cent.
Vietnam’s exports of cell phones and accessories to Cambodia in the first four months of this year rocketed by 2,891.1 per cent to $ 6.5 million; while the exports of fertilizer increased sharply by 127.05 per cent to $ 26.2 million.
However, the exports of fruit and vegetables to Cambodia decreased sharply by 83.72 per cent.
