Vietnam's April coffee exports estimated at 100,000-130,000 tonnes

 Thursday, March 30,2017

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam, the world's top robusta producer, is expected to export 100,000 to 130,000 tonnes (1.7 million to 2.2 million 60-kg bags) of coffee in April, traders said on Thursday.

Traders expect exports to fall as farmers are reluctant to sell beans as they wait for higher prices amid thin stockpiles.
The government on Wednesday estimated Vietnam's coffee exports for March at 180,000 tonnes, above market expectations for 140,000-160,000 tonnes.
