Retail sales of consumer goods and servicesin two beginning months of 2017
Wednesday, March 15,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Generally, in two beginning months of the year, total estimated retail sales of consumer goods and services reached 640 trillion dongs, up 8.7% over the same period last year, if the price factor were excluded, the growth rate would be 5.6% (lower than the growth rate of 7.6% in the similar period in 2016).
Estimated sales of accommodation and catering services in two beginning months of the year attained 75.8 trillion dongs, accounting for 11.8% of the total and up 4.2% from the same period last year.
Sales of travelling achieved an estimate of 5.4 trillion dongs, accounting for 0.8% of the total and up 5.1% against the similar period last year. Sales of other services in two months were estimated to achieve 71.4 trillion dongs, accounting for 11.2% of the total and up 7.2% compared to 2016’s identical period.
