Vietnam's March coffee exports estimated at 140,000-160,000 tonnes
Thursday, March 2,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Coffee exports from Vietnam, the world's largest robusta producer, are forecast to rise to between 140,000 to 160,000 tonnes (2.3 million to 2.7 million 60-kg bags) in March, traders said on Thursday.
"The fact that the lunar new year has gone, plus good prices now in the country and the current situations in Indonesia and Brazil will help raise coffee export volume from Vietnam," said independent analyst Nguyen Quang Binh.
The government had earlier estimated that Vietnam exported 130,000 tonnes of coffee in February, up 9.2 percent from a year ago.
