AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam's index of industrial production (IIP) in November expanded by an estimated 8.9 percent from a year earlier, picking up pace from a rise of 8.8 percent last month, the General Statistics Office said on Thursday.

IIP growth in the first 10 months of this year was revised up to 9.8 percent compared with the same period in 2014, from an initial estimate of 9.7 percent, the office said in its monthly report.

Vietnam's IIP rose 7.6 percent in 2014 from the previous year, picking up from 5.9 percent in 2013.
