AsemconnectVietnam - Cell phones and accessories are leading in the list of Vietnam’s key export items. It accounts for 19 per cent of the country’s total export turnover.

In the first seven months of this year, the country’s export of cell phones and accessories reached US$ 17.15 billion, up by 28.69 per cent over the same period last year. 

In the first seven months of this year, the country’s export of cell phones and accessories to Mexico rocketed by 286.79 per cent to $ 329.72 million; that to Saudi Arabia – up by $ 215.61 per cent to $ 100.59 million; to Colombia – up by 191.25 per cent to $ 75.38 million; to South Korea – up by 184.18 per cent to $ 542.27 million; and to Slovakia – up by 129.88 per cent to $ 34.53 million.

However, the export to Cambodia, Taiwan and China saw decreases of 96.87 per cent; 69.27 per cent and 65.34 per cent, respectively year – on – year.
