AsemconnectVietnam - 19 items have recorded the export turnover of US$ 1 billion by August 15, 2015, up by 2 items compared with the same period of 2014.

The new 2 items were cameras, film recorders and components with $ 1.79 billion, up by $ 935 million year – on – year; and fruits and vegetables with $ 1.113 billion, up by $ 157 million.

The export of seafood reached $ 3.847 billion, down by $ 755 million year – on – year; that of coffee – down by $ 873 million to $ 1.708 billion; and rice – down by $ 220 million to $ 1.654 billion.

By August 15, the country’s export of crude oil reached only $ 2.555 billion, equivalent to 50.7 per cent of the figure of the same period last year ($ 5.039 billion) as falling price.

Cell phones and accessories were still leading in the list with the export turnover of $ 18.566 billion, up by $ 4.418 billion compared with the same period last year and accounted for over 18.8 per cent of the total.
