AsemconnectVietnam - The bilateral trade exchange between Vietnam and Malaysia reached US$ 736.7 million June, slightly decreased by 2.1 per cent over the same period last year, according to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.

Of the figure, Vietnam exported $ 354.8 million worth of goods to and imported $ 381.9 million from Malaysia, down by 1 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively year – on – year.

The trade exchange between the two countries totaled $ 3.841 billion in the first half of this year, down by 2.7 per cent over the same period last year.

In the first six months of this year, Vietnam exported $ 1.774 billion worth of goods to and imported $ 2.067 billion worth of goods from Malaysia. The figure was down by 2.7 per cent and up by 3.9 per cent over the same months of last year.
