AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam's crude oil production in April reached an estimated 1.32 million tonnes, or 323,000 barrels per day (bpd), up 8.1 percent from the same month last year, the government said on Friday.

The actual output last month was in line with the initial estimate of 1.42 million tonnes, or a 10.9 percent increase from March 2014, the General Statistics Office said in its monthly report.

The following table updates production figures for Vietnam's key energy items this month and targets for 2015.

Unit: oil, coal and LPG in tonnes; natural gas in billion cubic metres; electricity in billion kilowatt hour.

For 2015: crude oil target by PetroVietnam, coal output is set by state mining group Vinacomin; LPG target by PV Gas; electricity by state utility EVN group.

PV Gas supplied nearly 80 percent of domestic LPG demand in 2014 and aims to keep the market share at more than 70 percent this year.
