AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam’s export of goods to Italy totaled US$ 2.74 billion in 2014, up by 19.67 per cent over the previous year, showed the statistics figures.

Vietnam export to Italy mostly cell phones and accessories; coffee; footwear of all kinds; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; seafood; computers, electronic products and components; rubber; textile, garment, leather and footwear of all kinds materials.

In 2014, the export of almost all items to Italy saw growth. The export of means of transport and spare parts increased by 74.29 per cent; that of handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas – up by 42.05 per cent; cashew nuts – up by 53.45 per cent; chemicals – up by 80.01 per cent; rubber products – up by 45.57 per cent; ceramic and porcelain products – up by 115.69 per cent year – on – year.

However, the export of wood and furniture to Italy decreased by 6.06 per cent; rubber – down by 11.92 per cent; iron and steel of all kinds – down by 44.51 per cent; fruits and vegetables – down by 4.37 per cent.
