Pakistan – biggest tea export market of Vietnam

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam’s tea export was estimated at 132,674 tons valued at US$ 228.54 million in 2014, down by 6.19 per cent in volume and 0.51 per cent in value year – on – year.
Pakistan was the country’s biggest tea export market last year. The export of tea to Pakistan rose sharply by 53.18 per cent in volume and 76.72 per cent in value over the year of 2013, and accounted for 36 per cent of the country’s total tea export last year.
The average tea export price was at $ 1,695 per ton in 2014, up by 4.3 per cent year – on - year.
