Vietnam's Nov coffee exports seen up 18 pct y/y to 95,000 tons
Wednesday, November 26,2014AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam's coffee exports in November are expected to rise 18 percent from a year ago to 95,000 tonnes, or 1.58 million bags, the government said on Wednesday, below market expectations.
The export volume in the October-November period, the first two months of the 2014/2015 crop year, is seen rising 34.8 percent from the previous year to 190,800 tonnes (3.18 million 60-kg bags), data from the General Statistics Office show.
The office said the country exported 95,800 tonnes in October, less than an earlier projection of 105,000 tonnes, without giving any reason.
Traders have projected November's export volume at between 120,000-150,000 tonnes.
