AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam imported 31,800 automobile of all kinds worth of US$ 681 million in the first 7 months of this year, increased sharply by 62.1 per cent in volume and 82.3 per cent in value over the same period last year, according to the General Department of Customs.

In July, the country imported over 6,000 automobile valued at $ 138 million, up by 8.1 per cent in volume and 18.1 per cent in value over the previous month.

South Korea was the country’s biggest automobile import market in the first seven months of the year with 9,300 units, up by 0.9 per cent.

It was followed by Thailand with 6,000 units, up by 51.9 per cent; China – 5,930 units, up by 161 per cent.
