AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported US$ 649.65 million worth of goods to Brazil in the first six months of this year, increased by 30.5 per cent over the same period last year, showed the statistics figures.

Mobile phones and accessories were leading with $ 193.83 million, rose sharply by 110.12 per cent over the same period last year.

It was followed by footwear of all kinds with $ 139.93 million, down by 1.53 per cent; and seafood - $ 61.25 million, up by 21.6 per cent.

In the first 6 months of this year, almost all items exported by the country to Brazil saw growth. The export of textiles and garments reached $ 31.11 million, up by 53.11 per cent; fibers of all kinds - $ 28.35 million, up by 99.55 per cent; means of transport and spare parts – up by 16.46 per cent; textile, garment, leather and footwear materials – up by 54.82 per cent; iron and steel products – up by 39.93 per cent; rubber products – up by 33.3 per cent; bamboo, rattan, sedge and carpet products – up by 38.61 per cent year – on – year. 

However, the export of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts – decreased by 20.54 per cent; rubber – down by 24.11 per cent; ordinary metals and products – down by 92.9 per cent.
