In the first 2 months of 2020, Vietnam's exports of goods to South Korea grew slightly (by 0.97 per cent) over the same period last year, reaching 2.95 billion USD. The main export products of Vietnam to South Korea were phones and components; textiles; computers and components; machinery, equipment, tools and other spare parts; wood and wood products; seafood, etc.

Mobile phones and accessories accounted for the largest market share with 25.55 per cent of the total export turnover, reaching 754.02 million USD; textiles and garments accounted for 15.73 per cent of the market share with 464.2 million USD; computers, electronic products and components accounted for 13.1 per cent, reaching 386.74 million USD.

Among 6 commodity groups with export turnover of more than 100 million USD, only the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts and footwear of all kinds saw turnover growth of 53.75 per cent and 9.06 per cent respectively. .

In February of 2020 alone, the export turnover of group of petroleum products increased sharply compared to the previous month with 644.18 per cent to reach 17.01 million USD, but for the first 2 months of the year, the exports of this group of items still decreased by 10.03 per cent over the same period last year, reaching 19.3 million USD.
