French singer Jonathan to give charity performance in HCM City
Tuesday, May 30,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Renowned young French singer Joyce Jonathan will perform in the concert “Joyce Jonathan Live Concert in Vietnam” next month in Ho Chi Minh City to raise funds for disadvantaged children.
The concert, hosted by non-governmental organisation Poussieres de Vie, will take place at Ben Thanh Theater on June 6 evening, said Patrick Desir, Director of the organisation at a press conference on May 29.
He noted that all proceeds from the event will be donated to child education and healthcare programmes at the organisation’s centres.
Founded in 2002, Poussieres de Vie has helped Vietnamese street children through numerous projects in Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum.
So far, the organization has opened various training centres where disadvantaged children receive free lessons on sports, foreign languages, IT and career guidance.
