Buu Long Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City
Monday, May 22,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Located in district 9 in Ho Chi Minh City, Bửu Long pagoda shares common architecture with other pagodas in Southeast Asian countries, making it special among pagodas in Vietnam.
About 20 km from Ho Chi Minh City centre and situated on a hill, Buu Long pagoda is easily recognised from its striking yellow tower.
Built in 1942, Buu Long pagoda features characteristics of the Nam Tong Zen sect. In 2007, the pagoda was restored. Since then, it has been upgraded several times, with its architecture remaining intact.
At Buu Long, visitors are impressed by its splendid architecture and can get lost in Buddhism by listening to monks’ dhamma talk.
Being situated on a hill and shadowed with green trees makes Buu Long pagoda a cool space for visitors.
Putting work aside, and taking a breath, they get relief from their chaotic lives.
