The training courses are being held in southern Vietnam, following their introduction in the northern provinces in April.

After being provided with theoretical knowledge on quality control and production management, the 50 participants will practice Samsung-applied processes, including assessing the operations and business situation of enterprises; advising them on renovating their production, quality management and circulation of goods; and promoting productivity.

The training program is part of a memorandum of understanding signed by the ministry and Samsung Vietnam. The program, comprising eight courses until 2019, is aimed at equipping Vietnamese consultants with knowledge and skills related to the support industry. Samsung Vietnam will train 200 consultants by 2019.

Results from the previous courses show that after four weeks of training in theory, the participants’ knowledge improved significantly, and eight weeks later, they could directly help the enterprises achieve positive results, such as a 63% increase in productivity and a 92% decline in product-quality failure.
