Waterpoint is designed to include townhouses and villas, high-rise condo buildings, an office-shopping-service complex, a hospital, a preschool and primary school, a college and sports facilities.

Covering some 355 hectares, the mega ecological residential area stretches along Provincial Road 830 from Duc Hoa Town to HCMC-Trung Luong Expressway and National Highway 1 in the center of Ben Luc Town. The project has three sides surrounded by Vam Co Dong River.

From Waterpoint, it takes only 30-45 minutes to reach Phu My Hung urban area in HCMC’s District 7 or HCMC’s downtown area by taking the Nguyen Van Linh Parkway or National Highway 1 and Vo Van Kiet Street.

Besides this, Waterpoint is expected to help Long An Province, which is regarded as the key link between HCMC and the Mekong Delta region, facilitate a transfer of the economic mechanism focusing on the growth of commerce and services and attract domestic and international enterprises’ investment capital.

The first phase will be completed within five years over a 165-hectare area with an investment of VND6,900 billion and is expected to generate an estimated VND10.7 trillion in revenue for its developer.

Steven Chu Chee Kwang, general director of Nam Long Corporation, said in a statement that the corporation aims to turn Waterpoint into a friendly mega urban area with numerous facilities so that residents can live, work, study and enjoy their lives there.
