Home Credit Vietnam hits high-profile award

The mobile application of Home Credit Vietnam was just awarded as the “Best Consumer Finance Mobile App Vietnam 2017” by International Finance Magazine (IFM) at the routine 5th IFM Awards Ceremony in Singapore lately.
Home Credit Vietnam is the mobile application to help Home Credit’s customers manage their consumer and cash loans. Officially launched in March 2017, until the end of 2017, this application has reached more than 1.5 million downloads.
Every day, about 40,000 daily active users and another 5,500 people install the app on their smartphones every day. On Google Play Store, Home Credit Vietnam is Top No.1 Finance Mobile App in Vietnam from March 2017 to October 2017, and user reviews at 4.3*.
The main functions of the application include locating nearest loan locations; competitive consumer and cash loan products; easily managing your installment loans and receive new offers; e-signing new loans directly from within the Mobile App; locating nearest payment and disbursement locations; becoming a VIP customer to enjoy additional benefits; and conveniently receiving payment reminders, talk to customer support and more utilities.
Allan Meldgaard, head of Online of Home Credit Vietnam said that in the time to come, Home Credit’s customers can register for cash loan online through the mobile app instead of traveling to meet our sales agent as they have to do now. Total credit line is up to VND80 million (US$3,636).
This proves that Home Credit is making a lot of steady moves to affirm its vision of becoming a Fintech by applying high technology into its service. At the same time, the ability to control risk through technology in Vietnam’s consumer finance market also get many substantial improvements, Meldgaard said.
Within just a short time period, Home Credit had got two reputable awards, namely “Best Consumer Finance Company” and “Most Innovative Consumer Finance Company” granted by the UK’s Global Banking and Finance Review magazine in early 2017.
Especially by late 2017, Home Credit received the “Best Consumer Finance Company Award 2017” from Vietnam Banks Association and International Data Group.
