The airline will offer preferential prices for Khanh Hoa’s tourism and investment promotion delegations and support the province in introducing tourism products and services at international fairs.

The province will have support policies for new routes of Vietnam Airlines in the initial stage and upgrade Cam Ranh International Airport.

The two sides also agreed that Vietnam Airlines’ services will be introduced on TV channels, online newspapers and outdoor advertising billboards in the province. Meanwhile, Khanh Hoa’s image can be seen at ticketing agents and fairs, in Vietnam Airlines magazines and on in-flight screens of Vietnam Airlines aircraft.

At the signing ceremony, Khanh Hoa Chairman Le Duc Vinh said the cooperation with Vietnam Airlines would create favorable conditions for the province to promote its tourism in Asian and European markets thanks to new routes between Cam Ranh International Airport and Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific are currently operating 100 flights a week on four routes connecting Khanh Hoa Province with Hanoi, HCMC, Danang and Vinh. In the first nine months of the year, these two air carriers transported 1.3 million tourists to the province, growing 9% year-on-year and accounting for 62% of all air travelers to the province.
