NST: Swings to 3.6B dong Loss in Q1/2015
Saturday, April 25,2015AsemconnectVietnam - Ngan Son JSC. (NST) swung to VND3.6 billion loss in Jan-March this year from VND1.2 billion profit this year due to fall in revenues. The firm said in its financial statements and explanation sent to HNX’s website.
The company generated VND49 billion revenues in the first quarter of this year, down 75 percent on year. Gross profit was at VND8.8 billion in Q1/2015, compared to VND28.5 billion at Q1/2014.
The firm’s financial expenses dropped to VND5.4 billion in this quarter, compared to VND8.6 billion of the same quarter last year.
Sales expenses and management costs slid to VND1.6 billion and VND6.6 billion in Q1 this year, down from VND6.2 billion and VND12.4 billion in Q1 last year, respectively.
EPS was at – VND320 in Q1/2015 versus VND123 in Q1/2014.
NST had VND545.3 billion assets at the end of March versus VND557.4 billion at the beginning of January Stocks hit VND268.1 billion at the end of the quarter, compared to VND261 billion at the beginning of the year.
