AsemconnectVietnam - In March 2014, Dong Phu Rubber JSC (DPR) consumed 1,512 tonnes of rubber latex with an average price of 45.3 million dong each from 48.7 million dong each in February.

With this business results, the company attained 70.4 billion dong revenue, about 27.2 billion dong pre-tax profit. The company reached 164.5 billion dong of revenue in the first quarter of 2014 and 52.6 billion dong of pre-tax profit compared with 88 billion dong in the same period last year.

The decrease in DPR profit is attributed to the low latex price at an average of 47.4 million dong per tonne while the price in the same period last year reached 62.1 million dong.
