Lazada Vietnam launches online shopping platform LazMall

AsemconnectVietnam - Ecommerce firm Lazada Vietnam on September 4 rolled out its online shopping platform LazMall, pledging to provide 100% authentic goods from nearly 300 popular international and local brands, with a wide variety of product lines, ranging from technology, home appliances and groceries to fashion, beauty and mother and babycare items.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Thuy, head of the sales department at Lazada Vietnam, remarked that all products traded on LazMall are branded ones carefully selected by the ecommerce company.
The firm is in negotiations with other popular brands to offer more exclusive incentives for LazMall shoppers in the coming period, Thuy noted, adding that the firm aims to build partnerships with approximately 1,000 brands by 2020, including foreign brands that have yet to launch their official stores in Vietnam.
LazMall will offer free shipping on the purchase of at least two products and will offer next-day delivery in HCMC and Hanoi. In addition, it guarantees a 15-day, hassle-free return policy if the customers are not satisfied with their purchases.
LazMall aims to become a reliable ecommerce platform, protecting and supporting brands at home and abroad, as well as enabling shoppers to purchase authentic goods more easily, Thuy stressed.
The representatives of some brands, such as L’Oréal and Frisland Campina, lauded the investment efforts of Lazada Vietnam, stating that LazMall will cement its position, build consumer trust and meet the rising demand for quality services.
Lazada, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group Holding Limited, has entered the markets of Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand in Southeast Asia. According to the country head of Lazada Vietnam, Lazada is constantly investing in logistics and technology with the aim of leading the domestic ecommerce market.
To mark the launch of LazMall, Lazada will hold a 9/9 sales promotion on September 9, allowing shoppers to avail of discounts of up to 90%. In addition, customers will find special deals and offers in the fields of electronics, technology, fashion, beauty, mother and babycare between September 6 and 9.
