President Quang requested that the Council work with airlines to explore opportunities for opening direct connections between the two nations in order to facilitate economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.

At the reception, President Quang highlighted the role of the Council in promoting economic ties between the two countries, noting that Vietnam is eager to expand the product groups currently imported and exported to boost bilateral trade turnover.

He asked that the Council continue working with Vietnamese partners to perfect the framework for  cooperative trade, and streamline the export and import of products in which the countries hold a particular strength according to the demands of each nation.

The State leader also called for further cooperation on engaging with the global supply chain in fields such as garments and textiles, footwear, and agriculture.
