Doanh said he is ready make more contributions to bolstering the multi-faceted relations between Vietnam and Kenya during his term.

During his working session with the Heads of the Asia – Australia Department and the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry, Doanh highlighted the stable development of the two nations’ relations over the past 22 years, citing the Nairobi – Hanoi direct flight route launched by Kenya Airways in April, 2015 as a contribution to boosting tourism and trade cooperation between the two nations.

The Head of the Asia – Australia Department hailed the fruitful cooperation between the two nations as a favorable foundation for further reinforcing the bilateral ties, particularly in trade, sea freighting, and aviation.

He suggested the two nations intensifying delegation exchanges at all levels in the time to come, thus promoting the diplomatic ties and creating a momentum for development and deeper relations.

Doanh also used the occasion to call on Kenya to support Vietnam’s candidate for the post of General-Director of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
