Sri Lankan Prime Minister to visit Vietnam
Wednesday, April 12,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and his wife will pay an official visit to Vietnam from April 16-19.
The visit will be made at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Vietnam and Sri Lanka established diplomatic relations in 1970.
The Sri Lankan Embassy was opened in Hanoi in 2003, while Vietnam reopened its embassy in Colombo in 2011.
