NA Chairwoman visit to Czech Republic hoped to enhance ties
Wednesday, April 12,2017AsemconnectVietnam - The visit of Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to the Czech Republic is significant to enhancing the two countries’ ties, said Vice President of the board of the Czech Chamber of Commerce Borivoj Minar.
Minar lauded the potential for economic cooperation between the two nations, citing the facts that Vietnam and the Czech Republic have almost seven decades of diplomatic ties and Vietnamese are one of the largest immigrant communities in the European nation. They can help build a bridge between the two countries’ enterprises, he added.
He also highlighted the potential for cooperation in agriculture, transportation and food processing. Czech businesses are known for their advanced technologies, dynamism and flexibility, allowing them to transfer technologies to Vietnamese companies and provide them with technical training.
Borivoj Minar accompanied President of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Milan Stech to visit Vietnam in 2015.
