PM Phuc: Japan one of Vietnam’s leading economic partners
Friday, July 19,2019AsemconnectVietnam - Japan is one of Vietnam’s leading economic partners, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed this at a reception in Hanoi on July 18 for Yanai Tadashi, Chairman and CEO of the Japanese group Fast Retailing.
Yanai Tadashi, in turn, said his firm will develop a retail system in Vietnam in the time to come, with a particular focus on garment and textile products.
Since last November, Fast Retailing has offered training programmes for Vietnamese students in Japan and Southeast Asian nations, so as to make them representatives of Fast Retailing in Vietnam as well as in other countries across the globe.
He asked the Vietnamese Government to direct competent agencies to grant construction and retail licenses to the group, making it easier to expand investment and business activities in Vietnam.
For his part, PM Phuc assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment, relevant ministries and sectors to deal with the group’s proposal.
