Since it went into operation, Viettel Binh Phuoc has endeavoured to provide telecommunications services to every corner of life and provide everyone with access to cheap, practical mobile phone services. At present, Viettel Binh Phuoc has some 705,000 mobile subscribers, holding nearly 80 per cent of the market share in the province. Moreover, the branch also supplies high-speed fibre-optic broadband services to all communes and wards and uses fibre-optic cables in 99 per cent of BTS with a total 400,000 km of fibre-optic cables. Especially, Viettel Binh Phuoc is the first unit to build Metro Ethernet network using IP technology to provide internet services. It also provides Bank Plus service - mobile banking service with many prominent utilities.

Viettel Binh Phuoc also pays much attention to customer care & service. Director Chu Hong Quang said, “Since its inception, Viettel Binh Phuoc always focuses on three elements: The most advanced technology, the highest capacity and the best service quality, of which service quality is the most important factor that makes the quality services provided by Viettel Binh Phuoc in particular and Viettel Group in general.”

Not only supplying high quality telecom - IT products and services, Viettel Binh Phuoc also pioneers in expanding telecom-based IT applications, bring telecom - IT services to every corner and aspect of life in the province such as health, education, science and technology.

Notably, Viettel Binh Phuoc signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on provision of telecom - IT services with the Binh Phuoc Radio Broadcasting and Television Station and inked an agreement on telecom - IT application in the 2014 - 2020 period with the Binh Phuoc Department of Education and Training. Besides, Viettel Binh Phuoc signed cooperation agreements on the provision of telecom - IT services with various departments, organisations and units in the province such as Binh Phuoc Youth Union, the Military Command of Binh Phuoc and the Department of Information and Communications. The branch is supporting the Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee to use document management software, granting initial funds for developing 154 high-speed fibre-optic cables from the provincial government to grassroots level to provide infrastructure for smart administrative governance.

Mr Quang added, “We give priority to speeding up IT application in State management units, businesses and Viettel customers, making telecom - IT a useful tool to improve work performance, enhance life utilities and positively change the ways we live, learn, work and play to make our lives smarter and faster.”

He added that, by signing cooperation agreements, Viettel Binh Phuoc has, and will, promote telecom - IT application in State management in the province, upgraded IT infrastructure in State agencies in order to meet e-government development requirements.

In addition to business operations, Viettel Binh Phuoc is active in reinvesting for the society, participating in charitable and thanking activities. These activities are one of fundamental humanity-imbued business philosophies of Viettel Group.

In the past 12 years, Viettel Binh Phuoc has continuously supported and accompanied all classes of people in the province with various significant social activities. Particularly, in 2015, the branch funded over VND7 billion for the education sector of Binh Phuoc province to provide internet access for schools, present bicycles to students and grant scholarships for poor students with outstanding study records. It also donated VND425 million for soldier cemetery embellishment programme and VND6 billion for construction of S’Tieng Bom Bo National Cultural Preservation Area.
