The Taiwanese company said the new factory assembles motorcycles and outsources spare parts for sale in Southeast Asia and European markets, including Germany, France and Italy. The facility will operate as a manufacturing center for the region.

The new factory is part of a long-term strategy of Kymco to invest heavily in facilities and human resources in this market. In addition to motorcycle production factories, the company has opened many showrooms nationwide.

Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of Binh Duong Province, said local leaders support the motorcycle project of Kymco as this is one of the sectors the province is calling for investors.

Kymco launched motorcycle model Many S with engines of 50cc for female customers as well as K-Pipe 125cc and Xciting 400 models on the opening of the facility.
