The information was released at the meeting between Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh and ADB President Takehiko Nakao in Hanoi on Thursday.

In 2014, ADB plans to grant Vietnam some 1.37 billion U.S. dollars in loans and the figure is expected to stay at 1.24 billion U.S. dollars in 2015, the State Bank of Vietnam said on its website Thursday.

Speaking at the meeting, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh exchanged views with ADB president over Vietnam's economic development as well as measures taken by Vietnamese government on curbing inflation, stabilizing macro-economy, maintaining growth and securing social security.

ADB President Takehiko Nakao is on a three-day visit to Vietnam starting from Thursday to attend the Fifth Asian Development Forum to be held in Hanoi on Friday.
