The country exported over 20 items to the U.K, leading by cell phones and accessories with the export turnover of $ 693.2 million, down by 11.55 per cent year – on – year. It was followed by footwear of all kinds with $ 269.3 million, up by 7.09 per cent; and then textiles and garments - $ 263.1 million, up by 2.36 per cent.

In the first five months of this year, the country’s exports of iron and steel to the U.K increased sharply by over 19.9 folds or 1,890.95 per cent  year – on – year while the exports of machines, equipment and spare parts – increased by 113.04 per cent. Meanwhile, the exports of fruit and vegetables to the U.K decreased by 44.99 per cent; paper and products – down by 35.06 per cent; computers, electronics and components – down by 31.37 per cent.
