In the first 11 months of this year, the U.S was leading the list of the country’s seafood export markets with the export turnover of $1.48 billion, accounted for 18.5 per cent of the total and increased by 14 per cent over the same period last year. Meanwhile, the exports of seafood to EU reached $1.31 billion, up by 1.7 per cent; and to Japan - $1.27 billion, up by 6.7 per cent.  

Besides, the country’s exports of seafood to China in the first 11 months of this year reached $910.43 million, down by 9.8 per cent; to South Korea - $785.66 million, up by 11.3 per cent; to the South East Asian countries - $615.59 million, up by 12.1 per cent year – on – year.

In the first 11 months of this year, the country’s exports of seafood to Cambodia increased sharply by 75.8 per cent to $23.2 million; to the U.A.E – up by 66.5 per cent to $69.49 million; to India – up by 44.3 per cent to $25.92 million; to Egypt – up by 44.7 per cent to $42.21 million; to Brunei – up by 35.3 per cent to $1.54 million.

However, the exports of seafood to Saudi Arabia decreased sharply by 76.5 per cent to only $14.16 million; to Czech – down by 46 per cent to $4.92 million; to Denmark – down by 31.59 per cent to $42.13 million; to Indonesia – down by 24.4 per cent to $3.78 million.

In the reviewed period, the country’s exports of shrimp reached - $3.3 billion; white – leg shrimp - $ 2.2 billion; black tiger shrimp - $745 million; Tra fish – over $2 billion
