AsemconnectVietnam -  The Vietnam Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2019 will take place from March 22-24 at Hanoi Bach Thao (Botanical) Park, featuring 15 collections by 14 designers from Hanoi, Thua Thien-Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

At a press conference to introduce the event on March 21, designer Minh Hanh from the organising board said that this year, the designers will highlight the combination of silk and traditional embroidery in their designs.

Modern technologies in fashion, such as 3D printing and embroidery, will be used in many of the designs, she said.

Designer Minh Hanh will introduce a collection in royal style using silk and brocade.

This year, the event will be supported by the Embassies of Columbia and Turkey in Vietnam with the participation of famous designers Mehmet Koymen from Turkey and Duque from Columbia.
