Mai Linh cooperates with Japanese firm to open Thanh Hoa-Hanoi route

AsemconnectVietnam - Mai Linh Willer Joint Venture Company on October 10 launched the Thanh Hoa-Hanoi bus route, meeting Japanese service standards.

The Thanh Hoa-Hanoi route was the first to be opened by the firm, as part of its plan to offer long-distance services.

Eight buses will depart from Nuoc Ngam Station in Hanoi City and Western Bus Station in Thanh Hoa Province each day.

Mai Linh Willer coaches are equipped with comfortable seats, modern seat belts, soft foot rugs and cell phone charging ports, all imported from Japan.

Other modern equipment, including earphones that detect sleepiness and a speed control machine, has also been installed on the coaches, making the Thanh Hoa-Hanoi trips safer.

Mai Linh Chairman Ho Huy noted that after two years of research on coaches, the joint venture had launched long-distance coaches that suited the Vietnamese culture and market.

“Thanks to the coach product, we believe that this passenger transport activity is the safest of its kind in Vietnam,” Huy said.

Murase Shigetaka, chairman of Willer Group, pointed out that Willer focuses on safety when doing business in the passenger transport sector. The firm has offered a number of training courses on driving and operating machines and equipment to increase the safety of each trip.

“Willer hopes to successfully team up with Mai Linh Corporation to provide the best services, safe products and long-distance bus rides connecting provinces with major cities in the local market,” he stated.
