Vietjet opens new route to Osaka

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietjet has opened an HCMC–Osaka route, following the successful launch of the Hanoi-Osaka route to meet the travel and trade demands of tourists and locals.

The new route will operate a return flight every day from December 14, 2018, with a flight time of more than five hours. The flight will depart from HCMC at 01:40 and arrive in Osaka at 08:30 (local time). The return flight takes off at 09:30 (local time) and lands in HCMC at 13:30.

The Hanoi-Osaka route will operate a return flight every day from November 8, 2018, with a flight time of over four hours. The flight will depart from Hanoi at 01:40 and arrive in Osaka at 07:50 (local time). The return flight takes off at 09:20 (local time) in Osaka and lands in Hanoi at 13:05.
Promotional tickets are available through all booking channels and from 12:00 to 14:00 (GMT+7) every day on www.vietjetair.com. Payment can be made with a debit or credit card from Visa/MasterCard/AMEX/JCB/KCP/Union or through any ATM card issued by 34 Vietnamese banks that have registered for internet banking.
To celebrate the new routes, from now until July 31, Vietjet will continue the promotional series “Free up your summer with Vietjet,” offering millions of discounted tickets, priced from US$0 between 12:00 and 14:00 on www.vietjetair.com.
In related news, Vietjet has transferred its flight operations from Terminal T2 to Terminal T1 at Yangon International Airport (Myanmar).
At Terminal T1, Vietjet’s check-in counters can be found in Row B (counters 7, 8 and 9).  The opening time for the check-in counters for international flights is still 3 hours before departure time, and the closing time for the check-in counters is 50 minutes before departure time.
The carrier says transferring the terminal from T2 to T1 is intended to meet the requirements of the Yangon International Airport’s renovation as well as Vietjet’s development, providing the best services for passengers flying to and from Yangon. Vietjet launched its first flight to Yangon in 2015.
Currently, the airline features a fleet of 60 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates more than 385 flights each day. It has transported more than 60 million passengers on a network with 93 routes in Vietnam and across the region, including Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Cambodia.
