"The biggest obstacle in life is fear. And, there is no smooth road in real life and the matter is how to get it out of way," Director Nguyen Hung Hoa said. With this way of thinking, he always feels optimistic and sees obstacles as leverage to success, even in the tough early days of the company. Particularly, he always places top priority on personnel training. The company regularly sends its employees to other units in the industry to learn experience and knowledge. 

With more than 20 years working in the fishery industry and 10 years running a business, he has never stopped developing business operations and confirming its position. He always believes that "A successful man is not necessarily the one who makes the right decision but the one who makes his decision right". Thus, he has never stopped developing his business. In 2011, he built and operated a seafood processing plant in the province. From this time, the company started processing tuna for export to the United Kingdom, Japan, the European Union (EU) and the United States. (The company now processes 20-30 tonnes of tuna a day, of which 60 per cent is for export to the UK). At the same time, the company purchased seafood from local fishermen and his old fleet. To have enough input material supply, he established direct buying points at harbours in Phu Yen, Quy Nhon and Thanh Hoa.

Good creditability and brand name are what all companies want to achieve. Knowing this, he has continually invested to upgrade machinery and equipment to lower production costs and then selling prices, while premium quality is preserved. As the material supply falls short from the seventh to ninth months of lunar calendar, the company actively stores 500 - 1,000 tonnes of materials for this period. In addition, the company built a fishmeal processing plant to use up by-products from the main processing facility, thus making a big turning point in sustainable production.

There is no absolutely rosy road to success. It is actually a rough way and the final destination of success is only for those with enough willpower to overcome and accept to pay the price. Indeed, Hoa and every staff member of Nguyen Hung Seafood Co., Ltd keep reaping successes in the future.
