CIRCULAR
ON THE LIST OF FOCAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS
Pursuant to the Law of Information technology dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 71/2007/ND-CP dated May 03, 2007 on detailing and guiding the implementation of certain articles of the Law of Information technology in regard to the information technology industry;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 132/2013/ND-CP dated October 16, 2013 on the functions, missions, authority and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;
At the request of the Head of the Department of Information technology,
Minister of Information and Communications promulgates the Circular on the list of focal information technology products:
Article 1. Scope
This Circular is enclosed with the list of focal information technology products (hereinafter referred to as the list).
Article 2. Principle of formation and purpose of the list
1. The list comprises the information technology products that meet at least one of the requirements defined in Article 50 of the Law of Information technology.
2. The list is intended for the development of the system of focal informational technology products; is used as a source of reference for investment activities, tax and preference policies; serves the management of import, export, quality and other activities regarding information technology products.
3. The list shall be updated and supplemented in line with actual situations.
4. The list shall be published on the e-portal of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Article 3. Effect
This Circular takes effect as of April 2, 2017.
Difficulties shall be notified to the Ministry of Information and Communications (Department of Information technology), which shall have the information researched and reported to the Minister of Information and Communications for revision to the list./.
